Description

It became famous in the 1950s as a filming location for the Homeland film "Die Fischerin vom Bodensee" (The fisherwoman from Lake Constance). In summer, guided canoe tours to Liebesinsel are offered, but the island, which belongs to the Mettnau peninsula nature reserve, may not be entered.
