Informative, historical, popular: the classic tour through the Old Town is the “hit” among guided tours. From the Council and the Imperia to the cathedral and the picturesque alleyways of the Niederburg, participants get to know (almost) all the sights of the city center.
TIP: This lively journey through time from the Middle Ages to the present day is offered in various languages - among English they are provied in French, Italian, Spanish, Russian, Danish, Norwegian, Japanese & Chinese (from June - September).

Dogs
Dogs may be brought along as long as they do not interfere with the tour. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times. Guide dogs and assistance dogs may be brought along at any time.
Cancellation / exclusion from the city tour
A city tour can be canceled by the person responsible or individual participants can be excluded from the tour if they behave inappropriately or disturb other participants (e.g. insults).
